Ahh yes, its been a long while since i last blogged and as usual i guess thats been the norm on this blog for the whole time i have it..lol

well school has started for me now, and i am glad to be having a 3 day work week for once, with long weekends every week!!! hahah. Ah well what have i been up to lately? well i juz gt back from batam with dearie where we celebrated my birthday. That was fun and i enjoyed myself alot.

Well nothing much but since its a new year, i do hope i actually post more and blog more this year, this is a good way to allow me to continue to write and continue my chains of thought. of course i wish to continue diving and go on for my advanced Open water course lol...

Ahhh yes yes, i know i have not been blogging for a darn long time since my last post has been what feb?.. ok so theres long lists to update.... well finished my sem as usual then i went on to my 5 week practicum at Outram..

Outram was pretty fun, i had a good bunch of teachers and great CTs to guide me...not to mention the fun i had while teaching my class. My NA and NT classes are especially fun to teach... my NA class was pretty engaged which is good...and my CTs and my Sup was quite happy with my performance so far..so its pretty good that i passed..

After practicum, dearie and I went to Batam to celebrate our anniversary...though we celebrated on the day itself with a cable car ride and dinner... we went to batam on an all expenses paid trip by dearie as a present for me haha... we enjoyed ourselves loads with plenty of down time, relaxing, playing scrabble, swimming and simply walking around. Batam was pretty fun for a short getaway..

Guess wads my present for her...haha we went to a concert by Jeff Chang since dearie quite like his songs and I find him quite good too... His concert at Max Pavilion is great..lots of great fans and nice song numbers... an enjoyable experience!!

After the Batam trip, i simply slacked, played a lil sports with dearie and celebrated Papa's birthday. We had dinner at Ah Yat seafood and we had our favourite bamboo clams and i got to eat suckling pig as well haha...

Lately, i just came back from a 3 day 2 nites live on board diving trip as part of getting my PADI certification... well since we were with some advanced divers...our dives were in interesting parts of the Pulau Aur in Malaysia where currents were stronger and unlike calm waters which we are supposed to do our drills, we actually went to real dive sites to do our training dives... its really beautiful down below where we saw lots of marine life... from stingrays and morey eels to schools of barracuda and even a giant barracuda..nt to mention also all the fishes u can find in finding nemo...minus the shark which we could not get to see...we even saw parrot fish, lion fish and trigger fish...and some mysterious sightings of cuttlefish i think...the dives were great and the water is good.. viz is not too bad except for the last dive at jack rock where viz is about 6-8m i think.. but yeah good dives..compared to normal diving courses where u had to do lotsa stuff at absolutely calm water sheltered bays, these dives were a little more challenging but alot more interesting since my instructor told us if it was the normal kinda training, the dive sites are not beautiful and there would have been little to see.. hahah now i am gg into my new semester again...so ya..hope i blog more this time round yeah!!

YOOO HOOO its CNY...as usual, its the one time of the year that usually extended families come together and pig out...also to meet up with cousins to chat and find out how life is like or other...haha as expected i pigged out on the huge amounts of food and tidbits...so much so that i need exercise again haha...tennis anyone??

yes yes i know..i've taken a break from blogging since the last semester...well for updates, exam results aint too bad this time round, managed to improve on my GPA again, thank God for that.

Lately i've become more of a jetsetter of sorts since i travelled to china, Shanghai during the term break and then went to Genting for a lil birthday getaway with dearie. Well 2010, i have more trips planned since i am going to Bangkok in May and Krabi in June as well as Bryan's bachelor's party in June. its going to be fun fun fun!! i simply can't wait for it to come.

haha the trips i've been on the last year and this jan was really great and had loads of fun. Genting was pretty good since i get to do archery and venture into the casino. i even played a few rounds of roulette which saw me generate 40% returns in my bets lol. That aint too bad for a first time venture, but then just play with discipline and not to get hooked on gambling is definitely a must. Play a little just for fun, play within the means is an important thing and its defintely a sobering thought, especially the way i saw people betting in denominations of $25 and higher while little me just plays with $5 chips..just think of the money they are throwing away.!! give some to me and i can really eat loads of good stuff.. surely we can't get rich on gambling, i have no illusions about that...unless ur the casino owner then you would win big..no matter what.

the semester has now started and i am now glad to be out of the clutches of the biased Sri Lankan Terrorist who single handedly pulled my grades now from an A to a B+. what to say, some of us guys totally hate him. Moi? i just think of him as a biased prick who is definitely not effective in teaching at all.. why did i take his modules? well there is simply no choice since his mods are usually core, ir not, then it is usually the ones that are more straightforward. i mean at least u can count on that prick to be consistent in setting exam questions exactly the same as his tutorial questions, even the requirements are the same, only wording wise is different.
Now i can avoid him and go on to take the other two offered electives which makes me absolutely happier that i do not need to face that terrorist anymore.

well the semester is starting again and i do hope i can continue to do well and improve on my GPA while ensuring i do not get any Cs...i survived thus far without getting any Cs and i think i can definitely go on to do well..

Hehe long time did not blog already....now currently at crescent going thru my practicum..today had no periods thus so free to blog... hmmm did loads in the hols... went Hanoi with lily, david and dearie.. it was super fun

we went to Halong Bay in vietnam and went kayaking around in the sea...super fun!! and i also got to try the local cuisine in Hanoi. Pho was literally eaten everyday! i ate snail pho...super nice..its not disguisting as you think..its tastes chewy like clams. haha also went around to shop loads in vietnam...the stuff there is like so cheap... i changed 200 bucks and literally became a millionare in vietnamese Dong.

Hahah had super loads of fun in vietnam...then in the hols aLso went to Sarawak with dearie..we stayed a night in the treehouse resort, its like some ulu place in the rainforest, where trees surround your cabin.. i feel like tarzan sia.. saw a cute cute squirrel climbing up the tree and on to the roof of the cabin.

We also ate lots of sarawakian food in Kuching City.. its really Kuching man went to the cat museum,..quite interesting had so many different types of cat exhibits... hmmm we also went to the Bako national park...the trails are quite tough to walk and we choose a trail that leads to the beach...after walking like mad we finally reached... wahh the location at the beach looks super nice lo.. the water is crustal clear and its super nice to swim at the beach...

now all the holidays ended.. so stuck at crescent doing work or sometimes not doing much and have time to slack in the work room haha...shall update again...haha so yup see ya toodles!!

Yay Yay Yay I am liberated from the depths of exam hell!! haha ah well exams are finally over and i can totally rest, do the things i really like to do and just well spend time in a total different manner. Did i mention that i had my practicum posting already... yes yes i am going to crescent girls again, and probably get to see Mr. M and drink coffee with him. haha plus i am going to vietnam during the holidays.. finally a little vacation...

ahaha anyway i am so going to enjoy my vacation, those who are studying for the next paper... haf fun ahaha i will remind you how i am having fun now, at your expense haha no not really kidding.. good luck and study yah!!

haha hihi... yep not very free lately... so didn't blog much... hmmmm went to marina barrage yesterday with dearie for this "real love works" event.. quite fun haha to see so many married couples rededicating their lives to each other and saying their vows again... haha makes me wonder when can i say those vows with dearie too haha.. the best part is.... we all get our own helium balloons... and we are supposed to write our love notes to each other on the balloon.. after that around 6 plus... we all set our balloons free with all the other couples there. of cuz me and dearie did something else to our balloons... we tied them together before sending it up to the heavens... haha the scene of all the balloons floating up is really beautiful...

heh, i juz got back frm cruise with dearie... had such a wonderful time!! ahha its so long since i last went on a cruise hehe... this is the best bdae cum vdae pressie i got ever... hmmm went on cruise... really spent lots of time eating and eating and eating in the restaurants... then we stopped over at malacca... went on a tour... its like so long... think the last trip i went was in pri 5 or 6... to malacca that is... hmmm took lotsa photos with dearie... and went shopping for local produce at malacca and KL before going back to the ship..

spent lots of time using the facilities of the ship with dearie... went for swim and jacuzzi.. the water was so warm and nice in the jacuzzi... and the slide... well wasnt that fast or that fun but still not bad... hahas... we also spent loads of time walking on the decks.. taking photos, watching the waves roll by together.. wahaha talk abt romantic man... lolu should have been there.. its so nice... feels like a scene in titanic... haha cept the ship doesnt sink.. ChOY!!! of cuz wont sink la... lol..

then we went to the casino once the ship got out to international waters... hmmm interesting to see how much people are sinking into the casinos.. talking abt recession man... there are still gamblers galore... haha... and dearie was so immmersed in watching the people gamble as tho she is amused by how much they are there to lose in the gambling tables hehe... but its a fun experience lea...

hmmm this trip is really memorable.. not only cuz its my first trip with dearie... but also its really fun and i spent lots of romantic time with dearie... hehe which is really nice.. and we both got to do things that we like... and travel together looking at intersting stuff together..its really fun haha..

sides i also got to know dearie better after the trip.. .like what is she like in terms of routine and her daily habits haha... which is really good, at least i know i am with a gal who takes care of herself has good personal habits hehhe... better than some of the gals i heard of frm my frenz...-Bleah-

any ways... i totally enjoyed myself.. and i definitely look forward to the next trip i can go with dearie... with a twiat... this time my turn to pay all the fares lol...okie..thats all folks... toodles

Heh its Valentines' day... and i juz gt home from celebrating with dearie... hehe today gave her a glass bottle with hearts made frm straws inside.. a special doraemon that i know she doesn't have and also a bouquet of flowers haha... not bad... and i gt a roche and tigger in return as well as a pouch haha... hmmm had dinner and then spent some time taking photos in vivocity and punggol... its a nice day...

yes.... today yesterday marked the last day of the lunar new year celebrations... this week is also church prayer week.... haha its tough trying to wake up early to get to jw church to pray... but well lets see how many days i can actually make it... on another note... vday is coming up... hahas i have already prepared the present i am gg to give to dearie... wanna know whats tt *wink wink* haha i am not telling haha... juz saying that i went around searchin for materials to make it and also to make other arrangements... hope vday will turn out well...

heh friday is also my cg meeting...more of a vday event i tink haha "twilight" is the theme for vday this time round... interestingly its also May Anne's birthday celebrations on that day... which means i dun tnink i can go for her birthday party...soo sad... haix nvm i shall juz meet her up some day for the long awaited and long put off chocolate binge we promised each other like dunno how many months or even years ago... hmmm haha

ah wells its e learning for historical intepretations this week... glad i dun need to go on to see fergie... since i am sometimes kinda lost in his lectures about history...he tends to get to philosophical... he is smart i guess and well read but i just get lost sometimes... ah well historical intepretations.. how i miss Dr Rahil... ah i never thought i would be saying this since dr rahil is a strict tutor...but i enjoy her classes, its absolutely fun and discussive... and not to mention her little antecedotes on American history and political analysis... Think its due to her analysis and her teaching in last sem's American History class that i have became very interested in american politics... and i may end up turning into an american watcher haha..

haha its the Chinese 牛 Year haha... i know its been weeks since i updated, hmmm days are okie, other than not having a very good timetable with lotsa breaks in between lol... but now its pretty ok at least not too stresses yet. ahah been cleaning up the house, doing some other stuff, cooking for dinners lol its nice haha... and now have new shirts and clothes to wear for new year lol... this new year juz hope all things go well and God may continue to bless my family and my frens.. haha... oh ya was slacking around juz now and managed to find the 2 videos quite cute and funny haha check it out man... i love happy pills lols

Hey Hey Hey happy new year!.. didn't blog on christmas cuz it isn't a good christmas for me. I lost my grandma on christmas eve, well at least she is at home with the Lord now... on a brighter side, i spent these few days with dearie... hehe had lotsa wonderful memories for new years eve and our 17th month-e-sary.

On a brighter note.. i am also going to Dubai in March!! going to attend the education without borders conference there where we are able to meet with other international delegates to talk about social issues.. haha finally my experience as a youth support worker comes into play!! Any way the hols were good, had lotsa good times... all the activities i planned worked out fine.. the camp was great and my frenz all learnt new stuff... its a big difference in what is being done in BA club and what UNI-Y is doing and will continue to do.. i feel so much happier and so fulfilled in Uni-Y haha...

oh and the new OPMC is going to look for volunteers ahah....FOC in school? waste of time.. esp with you know who leading the committee... whaha i make the person sound like voldermolt from harry potter but then again... she fits the bill whahaha.. okie enough of being evil today...

am going to go out for a reunion with my nie pals then going to have a steamboat reunion with my pri sch mates... its been a long time since i met them... haha okie then i shall go now... toodles

Juz came back frm My Hope party with frenz and CGM!! had a great time of fun, laughter and good food... surprise surprise haha most of the food are cooked by Sidney and me... haha and seems like no one is complaining of stomachache yet... hehe okie...gd gd... Seems every one loves the enoki mushrooms with bacon and cheese cake i made... also Sidney's bee hoon tastes good too, and also the chicken wings, salad, hot dog and nuggets...haha everybody had contributed lotsa good food..think going to be fat soon..but wait..i'm pretty rolly polly anyway no? wahah

then after the party went to shunlong's place to help him move stuff.... talking about a workout right after food... woot... any way home now... kinda tired frm all the work out...haha slp beckons...toodles

Haha its a long long long...time since i last blogged... well this month kinda busy as usual...exams over, results are out, uni-Y is plodding along haha and just had a gift exchange with dearie's family... haha

haha results first haha... maintained a gpa of 3.7 like last sem... so not too bad..I am exceptionally happy for my A in Dr Rahil's US history module... since she is known to be exacting and wants really high standards in essays and papers... so getting an A on the module is really good news...

sides on the happy note too hahah, i got a D for a research paper on stupid Prata's module.. thank God my overall came out to be a B-...no Cs yet for my 1.5 years in NIE haha happy...

hmmm i also ended my gift exchange... gave dearie the fion bag she wanted... she was realli surprised haha... see see who say i dunno how to give surprises :P

yup but the holidays continues to promise the same thing... slack, slack and more slack.. but well i get a good rest till the sch reopens... the thing now is that i really hope i can get to go to Dubai conference in next yr and also APUY goes well haha then i have 2 conferences to attend.. one as a delegate and another as delegate plus management committee... haha

Hehe its been a long time since i last blogged again...yes yes i know...i am kinda irregular when it comes to blogging... haha well school juz started...and within the first week of classes i am already being bombarded with work and lotsa stuff.. not to mention my presentations are starting and essays are already waiting to be written.

and not to mention i am juz done with a 6.30 to 7.30 pm lesson with Dr Rahil, which means loads of information to digest... its tough really studying american history..esp when i know almost nothing abt it.. so yep lotsa work to do and lotsa catching up to do haha but on the brighter note, at least Dr Rahil is a good lecturer, her lessons are never boring haha so yeap i am at least enjoying my life now with great company in classes.

FOC is finally over and i am freed from the needs of being in OPMC which i think can be a pain in the ass... i just don't like the working style and of cuz some of the people in the OPMC who think that they are so good and with virtually no PR skills at all. Some of them or rather one of them had no tact at all, so much so that a comment actually sparked loads of discontent with some of my frenz who were OGLs, and also that particular person had no decency to return people's things when they have borrowed.. that idiot left my lappie lying around after i have lent it to tt shity person and when that crap was done with it... its a lack of decency and it reflects badly on the character of that person. i can be pretty easy going but when it comes to these basic principles, it pisses me off royally with nincompoops like this, especially this man-eater who has no decency to return things to the owner in the original condition when it was loaned out. Not to mention the loads of inuendos and desperation seemed to be implied... guess thats what happens when people are just crappy on the outside and hollow on the inside...

ah wells finally done with my rambling, thanx loads for listening tho lol

and maybe, just maybe i will start blogging more often..:)

Ahh yes... its been a really long time since i last blogged...heh lotsa things happened along the way.. i had just finished my sch exp... today marks the last day of it at crescent. met up with some of the ELDDS members.. hehe gonna be adjudicating in the AJCDOs or formerly known as the mayor shield on wed.. so yup will not be judging crescent tho haha.. its not ethically correct.

ON the downside, i tore my ligaments in my left knee today...i was stepping down from this step when my knee suddenly popped out of its socket... thus injuring my surrounding muscles in the knee... now i am home on a long week of MC.. and i have to go for an MRI scan to determine the extent of the damage..

on a upside... i took my very first class today... after observing my CT for 4 days.. He decided to throw me and shaheena a bomb and asked us to relief teach a class entirely on our own... how did it turn out... hmmm hope its ok.. haha my first experience as a real teacher... hmm didnt know english can be that fun to teach... haha happy to be an english minor after all... yup i just switched my major... haha tho think the sch may end up asking me to teach english anyway... ahha but still at least i am going to enjoy my remaining 3 years in NIE

ah yes...been a really long time since my last post..well what to say..i was busy...with JGs and with exams...not to mention assignments n such haha...

well exams are all over...now happily spending my holidays relaxing...spending time with my loved ones.. hehe and not to mention preparing for NIE FOC next semester...some of the work are done...now all remains is the final proposal and execution...heh ah well pretty mundane life lately..shall update if i do anything interesting haha....

ahh well its a reallly long time since i blogged...well busy with work u see. i dunno wads gotten into me today...simply in a rotten mood, filled with melacholy instead of the usual cheerful self. well PMS is out of the question since i'm a GUY if you hadn't noticed by now.

just some stuff sets me thinking, given people live such intertwined lives and relationships between people can sometimes be so antangonistic. Just look at taiwan elections or even the US primaries. it can be so heated up at times that really makes me wonder why people can't just take a different perspective of life. life is not about competition, nor it is about thumbing down at one's adversary. it is about relationship. life is a never ending intertwining relationships that never ceases even the day you die.

how i wish people would learn to know about this relationships in life that can be so wonderful. friendships, partnerships, family relations and even that relationship with that special someone. yet it is so evident that people utilises that relationship to get what they want. politics abuses relations, it destroys the inherent trust that people has with each other. if there is no trust, there is no relationship, no relationship then how can man be happy. it is said "no man is an island" indeed, man is exists to have relationships. Whether u believe in evolution or creationism, we can never deny that man exists in this world so that we can have relationships and relationships can be formed with us.

Me? i'm glad to have relationships in my life. i cherish my friends who are genuine, sticking by each other despite our hardships, i cherish my family relations, having them in my life is always a joy, wishing i always had more time to be spent at home. i cherish that special someone, who for the past 7 months been such a joy and blessing in my life. Most importantly, i cherish and am truly glad to have a relationship with the one most high. He who had sacrificed so much just to have me back in His arms. Truly, relationships are the most precious thing on earth. iw ould give up gold and silver, wealth and glory for these fruitful relationships..

Well well its valentine's day today haha yes i know i have not been blogging some time now...lol well v day lol already gt my prezzie frm dear haha nice renoma wallet...yay even before new year already gt present already aha.. i kinda like it cuz its like quite nice looking and such. Ah wells still thinking where to go, eat wad tonite heh cuz already bought the prezzie and gave her alr. Its a necklace from SK jewellery...quite nice 1 lol of cuz lah not nice who will buy haha.

on a heavier note... well getting bogged down by sch work plus lacking the motivation to even start is kinda bad lol so yep gt to start working again.. ALS due next mon... so boring haha. BUt well i am also involved in OPMC for FOC next yr so haha yep lotsa work.. but stuff are kinda working out on tt end... having fun planning.. guess what, i'm doing programmes. Sort of a carry over from my days at CARE where i learnt how to plan camps over there lol, under the tutlage of eddie and Taufiq. Haha really great, almost everything i learn while being at CARE works out now lol...

ahh well CNY too... haha gt my ang pows and well spent it off a few days later on mummy's birthday lol. quite good food lol at the usual Kam Boat restaurant.. tt is also when dearie first saw my parents haha. Well earlier gt to see dearie's parents...hope they are ok with me *crosses fingers* haha but well should be alrite... i am juz so lovable no?*angelic look*

Yo its really been a very long time since i last blogged.. haha sch started so yep kinda lazy and laid back to blog and also being absorbed back into the academic system. heh just realised that i had lotsa work to do, a total of 7 papers both long and short to complete...kinda painful i guess ahah but well thats life i guess so just have to continue working hard i guess. Well on the other note...deary cooked shark's fin for me yesterday haha yup so i am a happy guy lol... its nice heh. thank God that dearie is a good cook haha then next time won't have to worry abt inedible food le haha

Well well... Happy New year!! i guess haha. Been very busy lately. Just came back from St Gab's Pri in preparation for some GESL event tml. Finally its ending... tml is the day of our event and then after that its jus wrapping up and typing reports lol. Well its wasn't easy to lead our bunch of people... esp when its a project that not alot of people are interested in. Just because of some strong headed individual wanted to push this project all the way that now we ended up doing smtg that we are not interested in. But well at least things are still working and we're ending soon.. talk about adaptability of the group man.. hah

Exams are finally over!! and i am finally free from the clutches of exams...well till next sem at least...Ahh well finished my papers spent my day slacking in hall playing dota. heh even as i am blogging... am still waiting for another game... ahah ah wells exams are over.. im super happy about that... no more late nitex mugging..no more fattening suppers ahaha and i cam go back to my old routines of gymming and running... well thats good. plus my ippt coming up and i have to go train once again ....

Well well, its been weeks on end since i last blogged.. sorry for my friends who have been checking this blog.. i simply do not have the time to blog.. as it stands, i am left with 1 last assignment, my psychology module... and there i was writing, when i learned of something that i wanted to share.

there i was studying Maslow's Hierarchy of needs, talking how basic needs must be met before an individual would consider self-trancendence, and one part of it being the spiritual needs. This hit me suddenly, that How great and awesome God is. More than 2000 years ago, when Jesus walked the earth, His ministry was of meeting needs, He fed the hungry, healed the sick. He met needs more than He preached. In His infinite wisdom, He knew the human psychology long before any psychologist can come out and explain the theory. He KNEW!!

this really just dawned upon me that this is the AWESOME nature of the God i love, He knows and He knows, without any one to tell Him, He already knew.

here i am, supposed to be writing my essay, but yet. i am totally awed now by the Goodness and Greatness of God. Sitting here, slack jawed, contemplating about the theory and thinking of the awesome wisdom of God.

YO*waves* been a long time since i blogged heh..well as usual, the trashy me was buried under tons of assignment, so my blogging has been erratic *looks over to mounds of assignments*. Ah well, taking a well deserved break today, after finishing 1 history paper. About to start on my other one as well as my education psychology paper. Well this week is great, messages preached by Pastor and by my CGL were as though manna from heaven, speaking right into my situation. Haha well, building fund is coming, and i had received the amount to give..doubts were popping in to my mind even faster than moles in the Whack-A-Mole game.. haha well.. just put it that God has challenged me to give an amount that is quite big....for me at least...so i am like wondering how will i survive and how will i am able to fufill the building fund.

But well, the msg helped... i am now once again ready to give and looking forward to pledge that amount. I am placing my trust in God, if He feeds the birds in the air and clothes the grasses, how much MORE will He not take care of me since He loves me! So yep, ready to give! Unequal amounts but equal sacrifice! I will do my part in building God a magnificent and glorious house worthy of HIS Name!

On to more mundane stuff, went for lunch with may anne today.. haha enjoyed the food and company... well had german pork knuckles and sauerkraut, which means i need to gym and exercise more this week. haha well its worth it, the company was great, chatted and caught up with her and well chatted about life in general, hows life been and such.. ah had such great revelations about how doctors are trained haha.. well certainly had more trust in singaporean doctors now haha, at least those with M.B.B.S Singapore haha. Well well, now i am back in my little hole in hall.. trying to blog and do my work at the same time haha.. Bleah! ok enough of my random ramblings! Back to work i guess*looks to the mound of books in resignation*

well well, i just got back my test result today!! I passed!! now i am a qualified driver.. haha after failing once.. now on my second attempt i finally passed.. hmm don't have a car tho.. so well my license is kinda useless to a certain extent... haha can't drive around any way.. i do not possess my own set of wheels.. so to say i have no Car.. haha unless u mean my 2 "CAR" ok lame..hah i am juz being extremely bouncy and happy and wonky at the samet time.. wahha.. ok now i am going to study then head to the "Secret" event later at church. so cya ard babes

well realised that my days of blogging is really slow lately.. well blame school i guess. i am being so loaded with work n such that i totally lost all my feelings to blog.. well caught the movie EVAN ALMIGHTY.. wow gt a huge revelation out of that movie.. it comes when the guy that played God talked to Evan's wife... well he said " when one prays for patience, do you think God gives him that patience in him out of no where, or will God give him opportunities for him to exercise patience and thus let patience grow in him... or when one prays for family unity... does it just comes like that or will God give opportunities for the family to be together"

this is smtg that really made me think.. how wonderful is God.. when we ask for something from Him, He provides, and in doing so teaches us something about ourselves and about HIM. Just the same as we ask for prosperity and such in life... is God going to drop cars and money bags from the sky to us.. or will He provide us with the opportunity to earn it.. i believe is the latter... if cars and money keep dropping from the sky out of nowhere.. .haha we'll all be crushed by cars.. jokes aside tho.. tts really a great movie... and a source of revelation to me.. its really interesting..

Hi yo, guess its been a long time since i last blogged..well school is simply heretic... just had one of my presentations done today.. prof said the presentation was quite well done..hehe well at least the hard work we put in paid off.. 2 weeks of constant hard work and we finally finished the presentation...

other than that.. totally heretic schedule... had back to back classes of 5 hours.. totally mentally draining... after classes i feel as though an elephant fell on my head..haha

ah well... at least lately its not too bad..working on my assignments n such, doing research...getting accustomed to life in the UNI, generally life isnt too bad.. haha ah well Thank God for every thing.. at least i am still alive, kicking and coping well in uni haha..

well well...today was tremendous.. haha

had an absolutely great service with Dr A R Bernard.. wad a wonderful ministry of the word.. Praise God for sending him to us to minister to us as a church.. indeed i am greatly blessed by the preaching.

Also, went out with my OG today.. had a smashing good time.. at settlers playing all sorts of board games with them..then we headed to vivo city... supposed to catch a movie..ended up not watching anything but went to marche to eat dinner instead.. the food was not too bad.. the standard marche fare..haha but quite good german beer...haha 2 for 20 bucks kinda cheap..er jin and i shared the cost and had a bottle each.

met into some old frenz there too..surprised to see eugene poh there again.. the last time i saw him was a few months back.. at soon hui's birthday. he seems so much fitter now... wow the wonders of the army haah.. also i met Amelia from church.. seems to be a really small world ain't it haha.. but wells its nice company and nice food..simply a wonderful day!

well i know..its been a long time since i blogged... well nt that i dun want to..i just simply cant find the time to.. sch has started and schedules are crazy.. i can't believe that i have lessons till 7.30pm.. and with a stupid 6 hour break in between.. why cant they juz let us go back earlier by shifting it... irritating..

WOOT! juz went for festival of praise 2007 today.. it totally rocks.. DEliRious? got me realli high and Don Moen has a voice thats totally nice.. i loved his rendition of give thanks and God is good.. the songs are totally great

Ps. Phil is great today too.. humourous yet meaningful msg.. who says christians cant be humourous and fun! today is a great way to prove it.. GOd indeed is great.... the atmosphere totally rocks.. well those who didnt go today, u can come tml.. theres still 1 more nite.. haha and if u really realli cant make it.. then join me for service.. cuz even if FOP ends, God's wonderful character never ends.. haha every service is also great, happening and wonderful and the same God u meet at FOP is exactly the same Jesus u meet in church..

haha well today i skipped a stupid tour of the NIE library to go watch simpsons with my OG mates.. the movie rox man.. its realli good.. short but really funny..seriously worth my 7 bucks.. then went for dinner with jasrene.. great company..haha but from violets mahz..surely expected.. so spent time talking and chatting.. before sending her back.. nice day generally.. great friends, nice movie.. what esle i gonna ask for man..haha

well well i am moving some stuff to hall tml then decided to stay in hall only from thursday onwards.. still wanna leave some stuff at home n move in bit by bit.. haha ah well its juz me being lazy..but wad ur gonna do abt it heh? Whew.... Freshie Orientation Camp is oveR!! well after tiring 3 days of activities..it is finally over!! ahh well.. had total great fun in FOC. Had a great group--the VIOLET INCREDIBLE! haha ah well we started off a little slow in the first day..partly due to pure bad luck that we are matched up against groups that were better. ah wat to do.. BUT and its a BIG BUT that we caught up on the second day and came in first in the Amazing Race segment of the camp. Imagine this man, we were the last group(again) to leave the campus but we turned out to arrive back in campus FIRST with all tasks done. Yippy!

haha during the camp did lotsa funny and crappy things i would not usually do tho.. haha ended up teaching my group how to do the titanic and even more...immortalised the CHIT CHIT KULIT in the whole of NIE! Haha..today during the finale.. the whole FOC did the chit chit kulit all together led by yours truly. haha didn't realise that teaching a little crappy cheer to so many people can be so fun!

i totally had a good time there.. great groupmates that are always friendly..fun loving and absolutely supportive! its really great to have a group like mine.. and well guess wat..we ended up as overall Cheering Champions.. having the best cheers in the whole of FOC! well...thanks to the titanic, chit chit kulit, our own "duck" and not to forget our own "hands in" cheers! Absolutely Smashing! One of the best camps i enjoyed really really much.. it makes me feel like a student in Camp Synergy again.. definitely this is CAMP SYNERGY Writ Large! OPMC leadership was great.. OGLs were sporting and fun to begin with.. and groupmates that totally ROCK! it is definitely an FOC to remember!

well well..juz moments ago i received msg from my friend exclaiming really loudly tt she has passed her driving! haha so decided to blog abt it.. well realli great to know that she passed..on the first try.. makes me wanna do my best to pass and get my license in sep too.. aha well see how well it goes then.. i may pass too..

any way being here to say a big congrats to May Anne for passing ur driving.. and yes a promise is a promise.. i shall prepare my wallet for the great celebration tt i'm supposed to give you for your passing..haha..now that you have your licence..drive carefully ya..haha

any way received notification on my hall today... living in hall 3.. realli a nice looking hall tho.. looks like a condo or at least a nice looking apartment block from the outside..makes me realli wonder how is it gonna look inside.. ah well at least its air conditioned... but the price is kinda high..bleagh.. well u get wad u pay for.. so i'm not complaining. heh cant wait to move in come aug the 1st...hall life here i come!

well well.. today's kinda bored at first.. haha well wad can u expect orientation lectures.. well kinda boring anw.. was entertained by profs who tried their very best to get us into their faculties.. haha the different academic subjects up for grabs are really too much to mention.. after some thought.. i decided that i shall major in english language.. and well being in the secondary track.. i have to do a minor too..which rite now i am thinking.. drama looks like a possible choice..not to mention history and eng lit... haha well given so much choices.. i shall think..but i am kinda fixed on history as my second academic subject already.. haha skipped half the day since i am not interested in any of the BSc programmes... haha

well lighter things to note.. went to Mind Cafe at prinsep street after that for my zone outreach.. the nite totally rox man.. its so fun.. had lotsa fun playing with those board games.. the games are kinda good..so its great..not to mention the food too!! haha i had fish n chips(forgot what do they call it at the cafe) and the brownies are absolutely good.. haas think i had chocs for a few days consecutively now.. absolutely high on chocs again... haha..well its good fun..and i totally enjoyed it haha..!! Whee! ok today i seem not to be the emotional chocoholic..more like a chocoholic nut case.. well here's some picS!

well well..today is considerably my last day of carefree life...(i meant carefree not CARE-FREE ok!?) haha. tml i shall embark on a whole new journey as a trainee teahcer..hmm uni student.. ME a teacher..haha would u imagine tt.. *ponders* well i am used to being called a teacher..more specifically a CARE teacher.. well here comes the return of Mr Leonard..haha no longer youth worker intern but now a full fledged teacher.. ah well at least 4 years from now.. haha but ya the lessons learnt at CARE shall stay on in my life..taufiq..i shall remember the lessons u taught me..relationships with ppl brings us far..esp with students..i will never neglect my students..n i shall grow from positonal authority to relational authority juz like in CARE.. i shall employ the principles of empowerment haah.. CAREVOLUTION goes on man!! Onward to NIE to spread the CARE mantra!! WHee!

haha well well i had the honour of having the company of an astonishing lady today who not only being pretty but possesses a high intellect and not to mention a common passion for chocolate. ah yes.. chocolate..the blissful thing that gives me a nice chocolate rush.. if u are wondering..yes i ate chocolates again today..haha well seems to be on a lot of chocs lately but well..i love chocs..wad do u expect from a chocoholic?

went quite a few places today..supposed to go suntec to catch a movie..ended up not doing so..haha and walked by this nice looking fountain..quite interesting a thing tho..haha then we went to esplanade and violla, there's this accapella group that was singing there. they were absolutely great *gushes* the 1st soprano sings so well that it totally melts the heart man.. wad a beautiful voice! haha absolutely got to catch that.. then of course we went for our chocolate fix at max brenner's.. ahah and being dark chocoholics, how can we forgo the nice nice taste of melted dark chocolates coated around nice juicy strawberries.. haha but something to note tho.. max brenner's white chocolate tastes like condensed milk!!

generally a pretty good day..nice company, good entertainment in form of accapella and not to mention chocolates!! yep indeed a very very good day indeed.

heh..today being a little wonky.. maybe its the chocolate i ate earlier today. well me being me.. an emotional chocoholic...not that emo..but chocoholic is 101% accurate.. haha well had my supply of dark chocs today after fellowship.. gosh i have to go run extra again.. haha well i always believe in u are what u eat.. so since i eat chocs..does it mean i'm sweet? haha well thats for u to decide n for me to find out.. haha:)

my little ponderings..

today i juz sat down n took some time off to wonder... there are things around me that i may or may not pick it up.. i dunno.. i am juz glad that my life is the way things is.

juz looking at stuff happening around the world recently.. domestically..the big thing rite now..even some of my frenz are still talking abt it.. tt little fiasco involving the little Leein the SAF. well some of my frenz are still in the SAF(regulars u see) and well given that the person involved is a white horse per se.. well realli big white horse...and he is as white as snow..figuratively speaking.. sAF personnel would definitely know what i mean. i am happy tho, finally someone is willing to speak up abt the lousy crappy officers we have in the saf.. well not every one is crappy.. but i met my fair share of CMI ones.. sadly those who can make it are mostly NSF.. good news is..in war..i am going to war with NSFs not regulars.. but well i digress.. thinking about it, if 2Lt Li Hong Yi took the matter up the chain of command, he could have covered his butt..which is very essential in the saf where u can get charged in almost everything. lookie at where has it ended up, 2 officers taking the fall, he has to be given a letter of reprimand. What he really did wrong was to email en masse to every tom dick and harry that has a OA account. its like washing the dirty linen in public.. well if that was his idea..he got it this time, the WHOLE world knows.. its even on international media. this is unacceptable. As an officer and a gentleman, he should be able to exercise proper judgement on the matter.
A letter of reprimand may seem quite light to some.. but well it depends on your view on it.. letter of reprimand is not as light as anything. it counts as a formal charge and a formal punishment compared to the informal ones such as confinement n extra duties.. so while he does not go into the slammer.. its a punishment that sticks with him for his life. A letter of reprimand will affect his career in the future..to what extent, i dunno..but well we'll wait and see.

well at least i am glad at least seemingly singapore does not practice nepotism(whether we do or not is up to your personal opinion, i shall not state mine here). it looks good on public image for singapore but the SAF has to take the fall. remember the L.I.V.E thingy we had back in service.. well I stands for image..and SAF's image has once again gone down the drain...

well whats done is done.. juz a little lesson to learn for us all.. dont ever jump the gun..think properly before you act. and most importantly apply the lessons learnt in the SAF: the 8th Core Value: "do anything but don't get caught".

juz my little 2 cents worth on it.. well at least its good that internationally we show that we are wad we say we are.. walking the talk not just talking the talk.. the whole fiasco will die down soon enough.. and well at least we now can say we are a democratic society..not even being the PM's son can let you escape from punishment.

well well, got back from NTU today. well registration is kinda fast tho.. 5 counters, quick quick, haha finished up everything... got a nice orientation package tho.. a notebook with 5 coloured highlighters and a not bad looking bag that "looks" like a crumpler but says NIE haha.

well eng leong n myself went to register for hall too...andn put each other's name down as preferred room mates.. haha so we are gonna stay together i guess.. juz wondering when can i move into hall... my lessons and orientation starts next week...its going to be a PITA to travel all the way from home to NIE every day.. ah well hope they can be more efficient this time *crosses fingers*

all in all... well stuff are going well.. i am going to school soon.. YAY!! "i'm going to the school, school, school..how bout you, you ,you.. you can come too, too, too..i'm going to the school" *hums*

heh ... been realli a long time since i started blogging..guess i will need new blogskins n such to add in... anw today was realli great.. its my last day in class..n i got to run class all by myself..heh not to mention some of the realli great stuff my students did for me...gosh i will realli miss all my dearie students.. they are so nice!! sigh sometimes i wished tt i wouldn't need to leave CARE at all...but well we all got to move on... so wad to do.. move on for greener pastures..but yea i shall not stop volunteering for CARE.. n i shall keep on taking back the lessons that i've learnt n bring it into mainstream education.

well , these pics i uploaded are pics of the suit that i wore for my CARE gala dinner.. haha well i look more like a security personnel rather than a staff..haha tho i cant deny that i look good on that day *grins* haha..
